The Kitsilano Coast Guard building, a recognizable landmark, on the North East corner of Kits Point and in the shadow of the Burrard Bridge, required a complete building envelope retrofit. RATIO’s design plan is a significant update to the building’s weather-shedding and energy performance that meet prescribed energy targets for the building.

Vancity has taken steps to remove barriers and improve accessibility for the hundreds of employees and members who enter their branches daily. Vancity branches in Burnaby Heights and Vancity Centre have received the Accessibility Certified Gold rating under the Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification program.
