Crafting for Christmas
This year marked the 16th edition of the holiday tradition started and organized by our friends at Contemporary Office Interiors (formerly Workplace Resource/Hermann Miller). We Care is one of our favorite ways to give back, have fun with kids and get the holiday season kicked off right. The super-charged festive buzz was enhanced by a visit from Santa and the happy enthusiasm from the kids.
We Care provides craft-making activities for gift giving or holiday decorating for over 350 children. Teams from the Architecture and Interior Design community set up craft stations at a community centre in East Vancouver. This year RATIO participated with teams from BYU Design, CEI, Hermann Miller, Kasian, KRA Architecture, MilYu Creative Environments, Omicron, Perkins+Will, Smart Design Group, SSDG, Stantec and ZAS. Each team supplies the materials and set up a craft station where children can take turns making crafts. It’s always as much fun for us as it is the kids!
