The opportunity to share holiday spirit with children and fellow members of the design community was one we couldn’t pass up. In early December RATIO took part in the 13th annual holiday tradition called We Care, started and organized by our friends at Workplace Resource . Each year 10 design firms develop craft ideas that can be made and completed by children of various ages for giving or decorating their homes. This year at the Frog Hollow Community Centre, RATIO hosted a craft table along with staff from HOK, SSDG, Kasian, Perkins+Will, Smart Design Group, Stantec, ZAS, and BYU. Each firm supplies all the craft materials required and sets up a craft station where children can take turns making crafts. Around 300 excited children participated; and everyone including the adults had a great time.
